Would you work for high pay or because you just love the job despite the not so high pay?

We all want to be compensated well with the job that we do everyday... the work we have... To some, they end up working for a particular job role, not because they love the job but because of the high salary that goes with it. To some, they would rather choose a job role that they love doing despite the not so high pay. While other people are just really blessed or lucky enough to do something they love and also are being compensated really well.
What about you? What is your preference, accept a job role for the sake of high salary or accept a job role, despite the not so high salary but because you love the job role that is being offered to you?
What are you thoughts on this? Care to share?

@yamkisses I prefer the stock market over real estate. But that's just me. But so long as whatever you are investing in is making good money, that's all that matters. And of course you have to be good at it.

Wow, absolutely a great idea there, Jim. Investments on property is one of the greatest decisions most especially when you have all the savings and resources from your hard earned income.

I'd choose the high paying job and use the extra funds to work on the things that interest me.

I'd rather have a job I enjoy. It would depend, though, on whether I could afford to take the lower paying job. Of course, I'd love to earn more but I've had a high paying job that I had to give up because it was seriously affecting my mental health. As long as I earn enough to live, to pay my bills, and maybe have a little for treats then it's a matter of balancing everything.
