The issue of trash

We are in the age of recycling that will somehow conserve the resources of the world. Recycling means trash segregation where one bin is for the biodegradable and another for the non-biodegradable. Now this is my question - where do I put the egg shells, is it biodeg or non-biodeg?

@Alexandoy they need to be crushed and then added to the compost.
I don't know how long they will last if left alone.

I would put it at biodegradable since egg shells could be ground and turned to animal feed meal similar to bones.
I think one definition of biodegradable is they don't give out harmful chemicals when they break down, it's true that they take time to decompose but would eventually do, with the number of eggs man has eaten throughout our existence on this planet , I have yet to hear of a place that has egg shell pollution problem

You talk like a scientist huh. Now I'm thinking how many eggs really have mankind consumed. I may need a supercomputer for that.

To be honest I am not sure about egg shell as they say its not good for you to swallow it.
As for the rest I would love to know about where we can put old saucepans and things like that that are non stick and old mobile phones.

Old pots and pans are bought by junk shops here. Old mobile phones ate collectible items.

@Alexandoy We do not give away the biodegradable as we put it in our compost pits. Kitchen waste could be biodegradable.

What is a biodeg lot? Is it like a composting area?

My aunt was doing that when I was a boy. I was the one who did the crushing. Don't ask me how.

My aunt does that too. When I was small I thought the eggs were fruits of the plants.
