The Fates conjoined enough that there was an egg in the fridge and wheat flour in the freezer so yes! Why don't you whip up some pancakes?
We even had some store raspberries and freshly ground peanut butter. Go me!
BUT there is one dissenter: you see him in the photo. Sonny James big boy kitty prefers tuna. I offered him a bite of pancake. You can see by the expression on his face what he thought of that gesture.

Thank you for that good question @evans777. For me, Halloween or Samhain technically, is a New Year. Its the end of harvest. Its the start of the cold season coming into my corner. Its also a spiritual time for me. I say hello and thank you to those who have gone before me; those dear people who have helped me walk my path. Thank you for asking.

@evans777 I don't have a good answer for you. I think it depends on the person you ask. I was raised a Catholic but now that I am an adult, I lean toward the pagan or Wiccan. Many people find Halloween to be silly. I don't. So, yes, its personal for me. I do my best to hold all life in a sacred trust. I try to be open to everything and that includes what might come after our bodies are worn out. Feel free to ask me again- I will do my best to stutter through.

@just4him Good question. The wheat flour is freshly ground so it has no preservatives. It also has all its natural wheat germ and if that flour is not in the freezer, it could go rancid. I ate some rancid wheat germ once and it tasted super nasty, like a throat burn. That cured me and now I put the flour in the freezer where it stays fresh.

I think he would rather a meat pattie than anything fruity. But as someone kind of human, they sound nice!
