Time to Call it Quits

It's been a long day. I have a busy day tomorrow starting in the pool, then getting everything ready for dinner tomorrow night. I have the two pot roasts in the fridge so they'll be partially thawed by the time I put them into the crockpot in the morning. I hope I have a large enough crockpot. I know it will hold the two pot roasts. I wonder if it will hold the potatoes, carrots, and onions too.
I need to get a little something to eat before I go to bed and I want to relax with the TV before bed. I'm one day behind. I didn't get to the 27th at all today and wanted to. I'll get to it tomorrow while the food is cooking.
I didn't work on a book either today, but hope to tomorrow, sometime. We'll see. Dinner is at 5:30. I should have plenty of time to get work done on the computer before everyone arrives. It's going to be a good day. I can't wait. Oh, and I need to wrap Christmas presents. Lots to do.

i'll keep fingers crossed all fits, hon. if'n not, i reckon ya can take some 'f that juice'n cook those veggies there'n the stove.
hope ya get some thingies done yer needin' 'fore they 'rrive. know yer purty 'xcited 'bout 'em comin', hopefully will be a nice visit.
freezin' cold here monday, jest gonna get worse. sure hope ya got'cha some snow by now :) i've gotta unload hay 'n salt blocks'n the morn whilst the ground 'tis frozen so's not to damage the pasture. got health insurance taken care 'f monday finally. the hubs medicare supplement'll start the 1st. will save's loads 'f funds.
i need to get my quilt top sandwiched, 'r such'll not e'en be finished by Christmas, lol. perhaps i'll tackle that sometime this week. nary a clue how i'll be quiltin' 't. might jest be'n all o'er pattern versus breakin' 't down'n puttin' diff'rent designs. go 'head, jest call me lazy!

@just4him aw, bless ya, ms. valerie. i sure feel 't most days. i jest do best when outdoors, the thingies i do 'ndoors seem inconsequential somehow?
awesome he likes mashed taters, all should work out jest fine :) so tickled fer ya, havin' 'em come! would so love to sit down with my bunch 'n 've a good meal. seems our turkey day 'tis still 'p'n the air with the daughter - her supervisor 'pproved her vacation, higher'ps denied 't...they keep tryin' to get't pushed through. then 'gain, if'n this kind'a weather keeps comin', they'd not be able to make the trip (snow/ice) safely. perhaps 'tis fer the best?? still does my heart no good though.

I would never call you lazy.
I'll be boiling the potatoes. Everything else fits. My son likes mashed potatoes anyway, so it works. Yes, I'm excited and can't wait until they get here. I have a few things to do before they arrive, but not much.

You'll catch up in no time! My week is busy. I have to go to my notary at the bank, a free service for my doctor's health directive that I'll hand in for next appointment which is far away. I have 2 appointments this week one for the chiropractor which is very needed...did some ladder climbing, getting my spring cleaning done early like doing the curtain so up and down the ladder all day. It was a ladder day, for I needed to put in 2 light bulbs, smoke alarm battery and did the screens and windows too. All day ladder climbing, so my knee started hurting. I'm so glad I'm going to the chiropractor tomorrow! I got a dental appointment for my new partials so I'm looking forward to both of these appointments. The only thing I ride the bus, so it's a less mylotting week so I can make my appointments easily.

Thanks! The chiropractor charged me a co-pay, so I cancelled the next one. But she is going to check on it and if there is no co pay, will I want to reappointment, I said ok. Tomorrow the dentist.

My Monday was a bit strange as I thought I would be returning my Grandson to his mum last night ready for school today, but she is sick. He is still with me on the ranch. I was trying to work a bit and entertain hom at the same time. In an effort not just to stick him on the computer playing games we went for several walks and got muddy in the woods "looking for dragons." (He is 7.) I ended up doing research on the phone while he bounced on a large trampoline and finally lost him to a group of Zimbabweans staying in the big chalet as they had several children. At that point I took the cat for a walk as she still will not go outside alone. I am interested to know you did a pot roast in a slow cooker. Hopefully we both get some work done on our books today.

I'm sorry your mum isn't feeling well. I'm sure he had a lot of fun looking for dragons and bouncing on the trampoline. I'm sure he had fun with the Zimbabweans.
I have the crockpot set up and ready to turn on, minus the potatoes. I'll boil and mash them later. I hope we both get time for books today.

It will be since I haven't had it yet. I'm getting ready to turn the crockpot on soon. Dinner is at 5:30 this evening.
