Santan flower made into a necklace

As per my promise to @hereandthere, I will post the picture of the necklace that I made from santan flowers. Now you see my ingenuity? That's what we do after sipping the sweet nectar of each flower. The flowers are from our santan plants by the driveway.

Yes, no string. After sipping the nectar, you insert the lower part to the middle of the flower. That's it.

@hereandthere handle with care because some connections may slip. But it can be for picture-taking purposes.

I never learned how to do that with santan, only the pulling the flower stamen thing and eating the sweet nectar, kids should learn how to make what you did.

Sipping the nectar was the first step. Next is the making of the necklace.

@louievill in fairness to you, I also loved the nectar. In high school my taste waned for the nectar... I loved more the neck. Waheehee.

Only a few children knows that trick anymore. I myself saw it from my uncles and aunt that plays that but I was not able to mimic them anymore.

@rsa101 yes, usually the crown is made by girls because the necklace is difficult to wear if they have long hair.
