The maintenance men were here this afternoon

The shower still isn't draining properly after a huge bottle of Drano was used on it. This morning it looked like it was completely stopped up. I tried plunging it but that just dislodged a bunch of crap from the drain and made the tub dirty. So I emailed the leasing agent and told her that maintenance needed to come today to deal with it. I said I didn't care if they came in the apartment when I wasn't here--that I just wanted it dealt with. I was annoyed when I got home and discovered that they hadn't been here. They finally showed up around 3:45 pm. That was all well and good but I had to leave at 4 pm to go to the gym. I think they were going to snake the drain but I didn't stick around long enough to find out. I told them that I was leaving but that they were welcome to stay and do what they had to do. I am assuming it is fixed now but I guess we shall see tomorrow morning. I know some people wouldn't feel comfortable leaving virtual strangers alone in their place while they were gone. I don't care though. I don't have anything worth stealing and I figure that they must be trustworthy if they are still employed here. If they were thieves they would have gotten fired long before this.
