so, I have a question (for a friend). I will share the question but not my answer! "At what point in life does the joy of loud music get replaced by the growing need for Aleve every day?" just sayin...

not fer certain there'd be a particular point? most oft such lies'n ones gut, most causes 'f inflammation need to be 'ddressed there. 'lso depends'n how many injuries one's sustained 'n our younger years.

I am right there with you. I remember a joke once that said a sign of getting old is switching from AC/DC to Barry Manilow, but listening to Manilow very loud. lol. I live on ibuprofen these days.

I don't think the joy of loud music gets replaced. More so, it depends on how sensitive the person is when it comes to migraines and headaches. I know people in their 40s and 50s that still enjoy loud music. However, a lot of them take Aleve for other pains such as arthritis and joint/muscle pains.

Well, I say never because I love music. However, it now depends on my mood and the music. What I cannot tolerate is the car music that shakes the city street, it hurts my eardrums and I get the instant reaction to cover my ears. So no super bass.
