Old Standard

Yes, I am in one of the states that is turning back the clock to the standard time. I wish they would set it one way and leave it.One or two states do not change to Daylight Savings Time, so they will not be setting clocks back tonight. Fall back is not as hard as spring forward, but changing it is hard on children, the elderly and all the crazy people. I am elderly and crazy. I am glad it coincides with a long weekend, though. I have had a good time cleaning, tidying and getting rid of paper clutter today. I have worked all my sites that I usually do. Joined an exclusive team I was invited to on Textbroker and did one article. It looks to be fun. Meanwhile, it is time to go to bed.Tomorrow is Sunday no matter what we do to the clocks. Good night. Sleep well.

@andriaperry Haha, yes, for sure! We gotta stick together, or else the boring, sane people will try to destroy us! Or at least have us committed!

We switched to the standard time the last Sunday and it seems that the next Spring European nations will decide if to change or not and that will be forever, no twice a year switching. It was time!!!

@LadyDuck I wish that we would decide to leave the clocks alone. It really does not make a lot of difference since we have electric lights. My husband grew up in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. It is colder there most all of the time. He said that in the history of the state when there were African immigrants that tried to live there they found the weather too challenging. Same for others who came from a warmer climate. His family came from Finland and so found that location to be very homelike.

ugh, i so despise the time changin' nonsense, too. the critters're ne'er happy with such either. by 7pm, my body says 'tis been dark long 'nough 'n i've the need to fight off sleepiness. then, when 'tis time to hit the hay, i'm like a hooty owl 'til 'bout 4am...which's not good since i've gotta feed critters 't 7. congrats'n yer latest article, hon. still dunno what a textbroker thingy'd be.

I can get an extra hour on occasion, if my body will let me.

Yes, and I am up super early because I went to bed early. I set my clocks early in the day yesterday so I wouldn't forget.

@GardenGerty It was. I've been caught too many times forgetting to set my clocks. Once I set it the wrong way and was late for church.

We'd like it to stop. Why are we still changing?

I really do not know. It seems like a bureaucratic type of busy work. Not profitable that I can see.

I am not elderly, but I'm definitely crazy. You have to be to live in this world! haha I hate the time change. Everybody hates the time change. It's time our government did something about it. Before we all go crazy....

I agree whole heartedly about disliking the time change, either direction. Keep your hands off my clocks, please.

@GardenGerty Definitely! I don't care either what direction it goes, just pick one and stick with it permanently.
