Early to bed

I used to be a night owl because I could write better at night. Quitting time is 3 am or 4 am. But in the recent years I had shifted to an earlier bedtime of 9 pm and I couldn't stay late anymore. Well, I think an early bedtime is better since I am already a senior.

i have shifted in the same direction. I could stay awake until 3 AM and teach an 8 AM class. Now, I tend to "crash" at about 9 PM.

I wonder how you could teach at 8 am when you slept at 3 am.

Eventually yes but I still know of some old friends who are still night owls.

I think it depends on the person, some of them sleep earlier and some sleep late.

Maybe it is the habit that dictates or the age huh.

I go back and forth. your are right. Writing works better at night, but cannot do that all the time so I bounce back and forth between staying up late and going to bed early.

Age tends to do that to you. I don't stay nearly as long as I used to.

For a writer, yes, you write when you are in the mood.

I wonder if that is ever going to happen to me. I have always been a night owl but now days I try to get to sleep by 2am even though I know I could stay up way later than that.

I guess your body is so used to that very late bedtime hour.

Hmmm... that's what I noticed about myself, too-- early to bed and early to rise.

Would you agree that it is because of the age? I don't agree, I protest. Waheehee.
