What's The Scariest Movie You've Ever Seen?

To me, noises scare me more than visuals. Therefore, I'd have to say the scariest movie I've ever seen was It Follows. It's more crazy than scary though. What goes into a good scary movie for you? What's the scariest movie you've seen and why was it the scariest?

Midsommer. I dont know if I have seen it follows but just the title may make me scared in my room or bathroom.

Hitchcock’s The Birds. I think I was too young to see it when I did (and it was “edited for television” back then, too!). But it scared the bleep out of me.
