A charity that donates bulletproof vests for K9 dogs

I have to give credit to Sandy Marcal who started a non to for profit group called "Vested Interest in K9s" which assists police dogs around the nation since she is concerned for the welfare of the animals that work with their handlers in crime fighting.
Marcal is one person who follows her passion of love for animals and filling the void of many police department who have no funds in their budgets to purchase bulletproof vests for their partners in crime who risk their lives to take down the criminals who will not hesitate to take the life of man's best friend when a German Shepherd is used to take them down.
It is nice to see someone like Sandy Marcal using her passions of love for animals to use money that she gets from donations from social media to assist law enforcement officer equip their partners who are like their best friends to have some protection from getting shot by criminals on the job.

I hope many not for profit groups will follow Sandy's lead since the handlers of the dog will appreciate it beyond words.

I salute and applaud the young woman who has actually been doing this fund raising for a while now. The K9s deserve and need protection especially since they are attached to the hip to their handlers and their family...

@Deepizzaguy I even adopted a huge Newfoundland that was abused by her owner. She was a great dog and I already had one that was a Newfie and black Lab mixture.

K9 dogs need all of the protection that they get when they on a mission to catch criminals who will not think twice shooting at a dog who intends to subdue them in a battle.
