@LadyDuck If one is in business, they may need more than one. Why do I have five? For the longest time I only had my PC and I was happy. Then I started to get continuous notifications that my windows was not legitimate. What a pain! I was given two laptops by friends but each one had a problem. So I bought a new laptop but don't just want to throw the others in the garbage and so I may keep them as backup. I also have an Ipad which is good when I'm out as it is easy to carry but the screen is too small to enjoy a movie.

@1creekgirl My husband still uses the computer for work and he keeps one for personal matters only. I use mine mainly for Internet and one of the laptop is a small one and it is mine.

Wow! Do you all use those just for work or both work and personal?

@1hopefulman - I asked a guy I knows, who understands a great deal about computers to get a computer and he got me my first Linux..I asked about a virus program, he said there is no need for that. The first one worked well a long time, and when it stopped working, I asked for a new Linux and he used a HP and put in a Linux program in it.. I have no idea how he did it.. but no need for a virus program so far..

@buenavida I see that there is a lot of information on YouTube about the Linux operating system.

I'll have to do some research on a Linux and see if I would be happy having one in the future?

I live alone! I have a PC, 3 laptops and an Ipad. They all work to some degree and right now I an using 4 of them and keeping the last one for an emergency in case the others don't function. Two laptops were give to me and the PC, one laptop and the Ipad I bought. When the time comes, do you know what you will buy?

@1hopefulman I will buy computer because it's more comfortable for me. right now I have without the graphic card so the next one will buy a branded computer with the graphic card may be I5 or I7.

I really appreciate you. My father is great one for changing computers, tvs, cell phones...SMH. We bought a TV some 7 years ago..its working but he wants to change it. Two or three years ago, he purchased a new laptop. 8 years ago, he had purchased one..mind you. lol. And then in between he changed mine...though mine was working. Great mine for generating electronic waste. I use mine till it can no longer be used and repaired. That is how I am.

@1hopefulman It is the best indeed but I couldn't sit more than an hour in front of it as I get neck ache.

It's the fault of people that are always changing the windows which are poor quality.
