Many people who frequent Mylot are fairly mild in their tastes. I say that as a warning to those who might judge the worthiness of Netflix's "The End of the Fxxxing World series. When you read the description of season one, you might get the impression that this series, originally produced for the UKs Channel 4 Television, might be some sort of horrible teenage slasher narrative. This series is far more than what it is promoted as. It's a work of fine art, about love, death, grief, redemtion, reform, nurturing, and developing character through love. It does this with a real and deep sense of humor, and a killer soundtrack that has me rethinking my music collection, Ignore the description of this series a chance, I binge watched season 1 last Friday, and season two Wednesday morning. I'm sad it's over, I feel like I've lost new friends, in having seen the whole story.

My son (24 yrs) told me about this and I first thought it sounded kind of dumb and he convinced me to give it a shot and I binged both seasons in 2 days. The show was awesome and yes, I'm also sad that I finished it. I hope there is another season coming out sometime in the near future.
