Umbrella or raincoat?

I have noticed that children here wear the raincoat and the adults use the umbrella when it rains. One neighbor said that the umbrella is also good when the sun is hot. I guess it would be silly to wear a raincoat when the sun is hot. Perhaps they have to invent a SUNCOAT. What do you say?

school children use raincoats so their books and bags stay dry. i really like the umbrella hat that street vendors wear.

My girlfriend loves to use an umbrella, it's either sunny or rainy and when it's not sunny and there's no rain. I'm the one bringing the heavy umbrella

You seems never run out demand creativity... Actually I am into the umbrella when its' sunny but end up losing anywhere any time so as during rainy time.. But for sun coat I need to China or Philiphine need to come up with new invention

In Puerto Rico people use umbrellas for the sun and I have never used a rain coat before.

I always carry an umbrella with me. In my mind, raincoats are for schoolkids. Your photo is lovely.
