myLot has come a long ways, since its old days..

Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing well. I would like to introduce myself, I am DJ, from Canada. I have been on this website before, but not so much recently, mostly a long time ago, especially in the earlier days of myLot, when it was quite different. Let me expand upon that.. I first joined myLot when I was 17, I am now 29. So it must have been 2007 or so. I am sure some people may find that hard to believe that it was around back then, hard to say though. Anyways, it was interesting.. I remember the whole format was a lot different than it is today, not just the layout of the website itself, but even some of the tasks you could do. Anyways, nice to meet you all! Hope to make some good friends here and enjoy myself. By the way, just a little about myself... I especially like to talk about music, some sports, food, travel, the news, and other things.

Welcome (back)! As you say, the format and a lot of things about the way the site worked were very different before 2013. It was in May of that year that the format changed and also the earnings program was discontinued. Many people left around then and some went over to a site called Bubblews. Just about the same time that myLot reintroduced the earnings program, in August 2015, Bubblews turned sour and closed and, as a result, a whole new lot of excellent members came in bringing with them a lot of the good practices which that site had encouraged. I see that the account you are using now is new. What was your previous username?

Thanks for the information! I knew some of that, but not all.. good to learn things. I am not certain what my old username was but I believe it may have been grungeavenged. I don’t know if I really posted a whole lot or not.

Welcome back. I'm not sure if I recognise your name - do you have the same name you had before? I've been here since the very beginning so I've seen all the changes. Well, some of them. I did disappear for a while but I'm back now and enjoying it since it's gone back a little more to its origins.

Good for you that you came back. I was also a member of the old site. It's really different now. I am not very active here because I have an offline job. But since the quarantine started, I became a bit active here. And I am enjoying my time so far.

Thank you! The main difference is kind of the layout of the website itself and there were maybe one or two other ways you could earn money if I remember right.

I am very glad to meet you and learn how Mylot was different back then,joined Mylot 6 years ago only.. Earlier, I have no idea how it works so,I left for years and return this year to try once again and found it was amazing to interact with people.. Thanks for sharing.
