Sounds like fun. We will celebrate it back at my sister's cabin in the woods.

I'll probably go to bed on December 31 2019 and wake up on January 1 2020. I remember years ago I used to stay up and watch new year celebrations on the TV but in recent years it's become just boring. I hope you enjoy your new year in the snow. Let us know how it goes.

I don't have any plans yet. Sometimes, I have a party of a games night but, I think, it's probably a little late to make any arrangements for that now. Most people will already have made their plans. I am hoping that my older son will be home with me for New Year but he's not yet sure of his plans either. He said he might invite people up to him (which would be nice). If not, I'll probably have a few drinks at home with my husband and youngest son and, possibly, with anyone else with nowhere else to go! I'll be falling asleep from about 10pm, trying to stay awake until midnight!

I am still enjoying the year 2019. In no real hurry to get to 2020. I will celebrate by listening to the fireworks in our neighborhood and the parades on television.

It has become just another day to me. You just write a different year number.
