Elizabeth Starnegg is counting her blessings after the heartbreaking event of losing her Husky named Sokka after he ran away from his owner's home in December 2016. The good deal that Sokka had going for him is that when he ran away from his owner's home while he was being taken care of by his sitter was that a man found Sokka on the streets of Yuma who took care of the husky for two years since Sokka suffered from a skin illness when he was picked up by an animal rescue group after the news reports of the missing husky was made public. Sokka was then adopted by Brady Clark who lives in Phoenix who loves huskies.as his pets. The Clark family took care of Sokka for several months when his health improved when Sokka was taken to a veterinarian for a medical check up when a microchip was found. The officials of the veterinarian's office contacted Elizabeth that her dog was safe and sound in Phoenix. Elizabeth traveled to Phoenix from Yuma to reunite with her pet who will know spend his time with his partner Husky Riley and a Shiba Inu named Cash. It is nice to know that this dog story had a happy ending since it is nice to see a story of a Husky being taken care of by loving animal lovers.

what a fortunate dog Sokka is as the people who took care of him really loved him. the owner must be in cloud nine after seeing Sokka.

Elizabeth is so happy that she could fly one of those jets that are used in the U S Air Force since she was employed by them when her dog ran away from home.

That's fine. What about if there's no microchip found in the dog? There would be slim chance for the dog to be reunited with his owner.

Had the dog not been microchipped, the dog would be in the home of the Clark family.

@Nakitakona The pictures of the lost dog is another way to get some publicity to locate a lost dog.

@Deepizzaguy yes of course it will stay at his finders. What I mean the adopters haven't posted a picture of the dog in social media or in a printed or TV media?

@jstory07 That is true since the odds of a lost dog returning to his owner are slim.

A happy ending for a pet that ran away from home and had the good fortune to have such great caretakers.

That's great he was reunited with his owner. It proves having a microchip is worth having so animals can be reunited with their owners when lost.

I agree with you since a dog that gets lost and later reunites with his owner after a three year absence is priceless.

Nice story. I love dogs and this proves that people who really do care, are the ones that are responsible for bringing them back together. It must have been real exciting for Elizabeth Starnegg. Another great story by George Bernard Vieto.

That's a very happy ending. After two years missing, Elizabeth probably thought Sokka was gone for good.

That is usually the case when a dog goes missing after a few days, Good thing that the dog was in the same state.
