im so sad the time i heard the news that eraserheads decided to go there own seperate ways... i felt like i loss something important... but to be so melodramatic but eraserheads did give a big contribution on the Pilipino music scene.
another sad thing is that its not just a break up... its not like other band who disbanded but still find the moment to make music once in a while...there break up still hve friction... something unsettled was left behind... proving that with the fact that they cant get togther in one stage!
hayyy! how i wish they find themselves again together.

pulp magazine did a story about them, a couple of years after they've disbanded. Wasn't able to get a copy of that issue, but a reader commented "Kawawa naman si Ely..." something like that, couldn't remember the rest of the reader's comment,though. But that really piqued my interest. I want a copy of that issue!
But I think I remember Raymund answering that issue to an interview i'm not sure which I came across to, saying something like "Ganyan talaga pag matagal na kayong magkasama , mga sampung taon na kami. Hinde talaga maiiwasan 'yan, buti sana kung girlfriend mo o asawa."

you do?! well, I've been trying to get my hands on one! Do you happen to have another copy of that issue that you may be willing to sell, or could you post some excerpts from that interview here. Just wanna know what was in that interview that made that reader give that comment.

listening to eraserheads, so your pinoy too...
anyway, eraserheads has been my favorite band and until know i still listen to there songs. sayang! nawala sila!

yah i know. they maybe broken up the only good thing is that they are in other bnads like sandwich, pupil and imago. but its still different if the song came from the orginal eheads. thanks for your respomse.

Sometimes its hard to accept the truth. But we can't deny it. I'm too is an avid fan of them. I even wrote songs influence by them. The rivalry between them and rivermaya had put more colors in their career. How i wish to see them both perform on a single stage with the original members. If we could only bring back time.

I feel sorry too. But life is like that. Sometimes we are happy and sometimes we are sad. We have to expect something unexpected because life is really unpredictable.

yeah, i like the band also. i have the collection of all the albums that they had. the truth is, before they were disbanded, the members has this hat we call a side band. . . remember planet garapata? d' mongols? etc. they were still in Eraserheads but they have this band outside the group. One of the reasons why they disbanded is the kind of music they are into. in eraserheads they stick to a melodramatic style like beetles, other members wanted to have a more heavy music which ely disagree. . . tsk tsk tsk . . . sayang gyud. . .
