Have You Ever Missed to Pay Utility Bills Until it got Disconnected?

Forget to pay or make a delayed payment then surely you will receive a reminder that your services from those providers will be put on hold (just the case of Internet connection) or services will be disconnected until payment has been made in case of power supply. But what if you’re not able to receive your bill or the final disconnection notice? I’m sure you will be surprise to see disconnection team at your doorstep and if you’re not around, you will just learn that the services went off because it’s not functional. Being put to on hold status is not that bad because if you make payment immediately, in a span of 24 hours it will be reconnected once paid. In the case of disconnected services like the power supply, it’s a bit stressful because you have to re-apply for the reconnection and you need to comply requirements with an affidavit that must be notarized. This is what happened to cases like these here. I’m not sure how other countries work. Today, I was tasked to represent for the application of the power services that were disconnected. Good thing, things went smoothly and after the compliance of documents and payment, re-connection team went ahead of me to the building and reconnected the power supply back. That was immediate and I was impressed but working on the documents to comply is not impressive at all.

I never have such experience, because I always put the billing schedule on my phone and we can check our bill via internet by put our ID.

It's not really a problem if we will adopt a system on paying our bills. You are right. In the case of telephone and internet, if you registered your number on your account, you will received also a text message that your billing is on its way. That is good to hear.
