My Tips For Getting Started On Fiverr.....

I've been receiving comments for a while now asking how to get started on Fiverr, so I thought I'd make a quick post about it. For those who don't know, Fiverr is a platform for selling services such as writing, graphic design, animation, etc. You can start at $5, but please keep in mind, Fiverr takes a $1 for every $5 you earn (so a $5 sale leaves you at $4, $10 sale leaves you at $8, etc.). It may sound unfair, but they probably use that for hosting and whatnot. Also, I don't know how many countries it is or isn't open to, so that is something you're going to have to look into on your own. I'm not entirely sure if I can share links (if so, I'll edit and add them in). I'm not referring to "referals". I don't know if Fiverr offers that, nor do I need it right now, as the point of this post is to be helpful. Anyway, until I know for sure, just type in "Fiverr" in Google, and it should be at the top of the search results. Yes, it's spelled with two Rs. Lol. Once you're on the website, scroll down to the bottom and look at the menu, and under "Support" should be a link that says "Selling On Fiverr". Click it and read through all of it. It has information on how to create a profile, post a gig, offer packages, etc. You can also use the search function at the top to look other aspects of Fiverr, such as payments, "Out of Office" mode (which I use a lot when I'm overbooked), pausing gigs, limiting how many orders you can take at a time, etc. On the bottom of the page, in the menu I mentioned, is "Community" which has "Forum" under it. Click it, look for the seller section and read through it. You can learn tips from those who are members. That's it, no quick secret, just read through the website, learn about selling and become familiar with Fiverr. It took me a few months to finally make the leap (it may take you less, but I was just sharing my personal experience), but I'm glad I did it. And before anyone asks "How much can you make" - it depends on how many clients you get, your work ethic, etc. Basically it depends on how much work you put in. I hope this helps with those who are looking to make the leap to Fiverr. I'm not the best at explaining things, but that's why I recommend reading through the website and the forum. I'm gonna get back to my work (on Textbroker), but I'll try to be back later for a Gratitude Challenge. Take care, everyone. :) Photo Credit: Pixabay.

As you know I am on textbroker, when my other job allows me time and brain cells. I may p.m. you with a question about something that holds me back a bit. But not tonight, as you are busy and I have no brain cells to spare.
