Aim high

This has been my motto when I was younger. It's a nice feeling whenever I would surpass my personal quota. Even now I still have that attitude of challenging myself but I am trying to slow down... slow down to savor what I have now.

Me and hubby decided to semi-retire from work to give way to a new challenge: from complexity to simplicity. We gave up toxic, traumatic, automatic high-cost of living in a metropolis for a simple provincial living where walking is the most practical means of transportation and farming is the most affordable fitness gym in the area. We aim high to live simple.

I like the direction of life that you are taking. Farming and gardening are the best endeavor in this modern life. In fact, my dream is to buy a land in the rural provinces but unfortunately, land is not cheap.

@MrsUinSMM no matter the modernity in the city, the rural area is still the best for me.

@Alexandoy, there was initial resistance on my part, I admit. I was born and raised in Manila then all of a sudden became a provincial girl. But with the views and the climate, it's easy to love and appreciate the area. Plus, the warm hugs and bondings with the relatives here made me feel at home. Everything here is close to perfect, love it here!

we should always challenge ourselves so we will know our limitations

Sometimes it's even fun when you challenge yourself.

You may never reach your full potential if you don't aim high.

It sounds to me like a very good approach. I love challenges no matter how hard they would seem, but with the years I already want a more calm life.

Sometimes you have to aim low so not to put on too much pressure.

It depends on your capacity. I aim high but not to the extent of putting much pressure on myself.
