Sweet Grated Coconut

This morning I went to Philippines Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) with my two friends who also dialysis patient to ask for a Medical Assistant. While waiting we had breakfast first after we ate we went back to the queue up again, after a few minutes we were well interviewed.
Before I went home I saw a sweet grated coconut ( Bukayo) I bought some , this is the one of my favorite dessert.

The candied bukayo is getting rare maybe in favor of the new sweets that are local or imported.

@Alexandoy in my case I stop making bukayo because young coconut has become expensive and I cannot recover my cost anymore, if I sell it in my town. Though I still process once in a while if I get orders to be sent abroad by visiting balikbayans.

I make one of the best bukayo in our place. I used to sell them in agro fairs and exhibits.
