Magic Erasers - Make them last longer?

For the last decade (maybe longer) I've loved using music erasers! Using them on everything from permanent marker & crayons on walls to spills hidden & hardened in my refrigerator. I'm officially addicted to them! I've cut them in half, used less pressure, pre-moistened spots before using, scraping spots off of surfaces with a spatula. Are there any others ways to extend their use?! What do you do?
