2 and a half days of work this week

It is Thanksgiving week here in the United States. The big day is on Thursday and almost all businesses are closed. . . at least for most of the day.
My school has 2 regular days on Monday and Tuesday and then a half-day on Wednesday. That extra time on Wednesday will allow me to work on the mashed potatoes and green bean casserole that I have been assigned to bring to my parents' house for dinner.
Gotta love a 4 day weekend! Then we keep going until Christmas. We get 2 weeks off then!

Can I come over? I love mashed potatoes and a green bean casserole. I wonder if Mr. Green Jeans from Captain Kangeroo ate green beans.

Enjoy your time off. I used to take the day before Thanksgiving off to do all the cooking and baking.
