Why There's Death?

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:55-57, kjv)
By Wednesday my nephew Edwin would be laid to his final resting place by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, relatives and friends.
We would be missing him.

That is one of the hardest question to answer since we all feel grief after someone we loved passes away. I have had several ones all happening this year. My uncle (who was pretty close to me) and just recently my father in law who passed away surprisingly and unexpectedly too. That is why it is hard to really fathom why we have to bear this pain of loss and at the same time think that they are in a better place than we are right now. Those two feelings are really contradictory.

Same grief I have experienced too. I lost my elder brother too within this year and recently my nephew. It's hard to bear that sorrow but we're assured that they've rested in the arms of the Lord.

@Nakitakona The only consolation we have to hold on to help us move on with life. But still the questions like why now? Why so sudden? Why him/her? remains unanswered until the day we too come to that point.
