Love. Nowadays, what is it?

November 24, 2019 9:24pm CST
In this highly advanced generation, Social media is at its peak. Idols are everywhere and many people, especially teens can't seem to differentiate crush/infatuation from love. They usually thought that that person is "the one". Turns out, in the long run, it was not. Love is tested through time they say, that is why many enter a relationship only to fail afterward. I'd say, Love is tested by patience and the ability to wait and at the same time, the ability to know if the wait is finally over.

Love takes time...most people want instant gratification ...like on their phones ...if someone doesn't reply to their text in 1 minute they panic! ( not all I'm saying but....lol )

And feelings change so fast too! One moment they mean the world to each other, next thing I know, they already found someone new. My cousin does this all the time.

Too many bad television shows that kids these days cannot differentiate fact from fiction, among other things.

I agree. They thought finding love is as easy as what TV or videos show.

Because of this discussion, I remembered a quote saying that if you are not in love, don't enter a relationship. The question is how will you know if you're already in love or it is just an infatuation?

In these days love is a kind of test drive only. No one wants to bear that
