A single pilot named Thomas Koskovich is very thankful that he was rescued by members of the Scott County Sheriff's Office came to rescue him on Saturday afternoon when for unknown reason his plane was tangled on the electrical power lines near Louisville Township.
The rescue team managed to turn off the electrical power lines where the small single engine Piper Cub was entangled in an upside down position.
In my opinion, Thomas is one lucky small airplane pilot who came out of his airplane without any injuries to him since any small airplane that get tangled on electrical power lines usually finds a tragic end for any single engine pilot due to the current passing through the airplane.
.
Thomas was the lone occupant of the single engine airplane which may had either mechanical engine trouble or a pilot error.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of this accident which thank goodness no one was hurt.
That old saying holds true "Any airplane ride that you can leave safe and sound is a good landing."

@Deepizzaguy I think that is a pilot error to have the plane get entangled in those wires and they are very lucky that they were not electrocuted while they are hanging in there.

@rsa101 That is true since electrical power from a power line touching a human being can be deadly.

I have no idea how long he was in the power lines since the story did not mention the length of time that it took to be rescued.

@rakski I am sure that Thomas did a lot of praying for someone to rescue him. It did pay off.

I agree with you since being trapped on electrical power lines is a dangerous place to be trapped inside an small plane.

The pilot must have had a Guardian Angel watching out for his safety.

You are welcome since I remember that line from a Justice League cartoon.

@DianneN Thank you. I believe it was The Flash who made that comment.

I know if I were in his shoes, I would be wondering if a rescue team would come in time or is it the end.

That is a good question since the incident is under investigation by the FAA.

Thomas is very lucky since getting tangled up on a bunch of power lines and having his small plane upside down must have been a hair raising experience.

It was a very dangerous position to be inside of a plane upside down on those power lines.
