I'd like to know this from my fellow mylot brethren: Which do you think is better for kids: going to a public school, some type of private school or homeschooling them? I live in the United States and I'd like to know this from parents who are currently involved in this or have completed it with their kids. If you graduated from high school, tell me what you think. I'm just curious. Be honest. Tell me in your responses what are the positive and negative aspects of the education process. Maybe you send your kid to a public school but have a friend that sends their child to a private school or homeschools them.. What are the differences, if any?
If you're a kid in school now, tell me about your time. Do you like your classes? Are you really learning your subjects? Do you like school? Do you like your teachers?

I know what you mean. I graduated from high school many years ago and I rarely see my friends from school anymore.

In the USA I would expect private schools have better student behaviour than at public schools. They have lower class sizes and high quality education.
In the UK private schools cost a lot of money. They have more chances for sport and music. Some of them have swimming pools and horses for the students to ride. My son goes to a public school that is outstanding. My daughter goes to a primary school that is good.
One of my friends home schools her son. Home schooling is allowed in the UK. I knew two little girls that were home schooled until they got to secondary school age. When they were young they were taken to France. They learned to speak fluent French.

Private schools are also expensive in the United States. I think it also depends on the student. A student can be in a great setting with exemplary teachers but if he or she isn't motivated, they won't do well.
