I was so happy today I really have to share this one.
Okay. So this is my first time cooking seafood broil and I am so happy that it was a success!
My husband loved it so much and I do too. I really love it. Tho the seafood ingredients that we have is very limited, It's still enough to give us a very good meal.
I feel like I can really cook now.

Your cooking success gives you confidence to try more things in the kitchen.

I first sautéd onion and finely chopped garlic in oil and butter. I then added the assorted seafood in. I waited 'till some of the shrimps start to change color and then added some freshly ground pepper, soy sauce and oyster sauce to bring the flavour of the seafood together. I covered it and let it simmer until the mussels and clams have opened. I then put a teaspoon of sugar to enhance the umami and add spring onions. let it simmer for another minute or so, just to dissolve the sugar and not overcook the seafood.
Aaaand it's done!!!
I did not put a lot of seasoning in my attempts to let the seafood flavor shine. I really don't know what I was doing, I just did what I think will make SENSE. it was like an experiment that successfully went well in one go. hahah
