I received a message from the weather bureau that a strong typhoon had entered the country. Brace for strong winds and heavy rains. But today looks like a good one with the sunshine and no sign of the storm. I hope that we will not be directly hit tomorrow.

Not being felt here in Manila yet but in my home province the rains started to pour down with slight winds. I just hope and pray that the storm would be weakened once it hits land so the impact would not be that strong when it passes through other places.

@Alexandoy I do not expect to experience it right now it is very far from us still but the direction is really headed for us in the coming days unless it is weakened before it reaches us here.

It is lunch time, Monday, and no sight of the bad weather. I am thankful for that.

@rsa101 I have yet to know the details, good thing you mentioned that it is still far. I got the text from NDRRMC last night and I only read it this morning.

I hope that you will not be directly hit, and that those impacted will stay safe. We do not have to deal with typhoon's here but I've seen video and pictures of the devastation they wreak.

In 2014 our mango tree was felled by a strong typhoon. Hopefully this time we will not be hit.

@Alexandoy Oh no! Did the tree do any damage to your home or others?

@ScribbledAdNauseum it's a good thing that the tree did not do any damage but I was saddened because I love that tree.

I just hope that the storm either goes away to the ocean since typhoons are very dangerous storms that result In fatalities due to the flooding. Just pray and have faith that everything will be okay for you and your loved ones.
