Good Morning to All,

My city is known for its different kind of food from which one of them is Patra which visitors likes a lot. Its made from leaves, besan and ingredients as its very healthy, we can take it in snack and lunch too. We can eat them either boil or fry?
There are many other snacks too like Khaman, Poha, etc is our local snack which people like to take so which is your local snack in your city or country?

Patra is unknown to me but the way you described it maybe I want to taste it. This morning I was watching a documentary of food in Punjab. It was a nice documentary for it is very detailed.

@Alexandoy It's not available in all cities even some cities even don't know because of its not their food. We have different cultures here so they all have some special food which mostly gets in that state or city. in short it not get easier and if you get, someplace taste becomes a big issue.

Ohh I think it is not by place but by status in the Philippines hahaha I am poor and I love BANANA FRITTERS, BANANA QUE, CAMOTE QUE, CASSAVA CAKES, RICE CAKES or what we call "kakanin" , the rich would prefer BANANA SPLITS for banana maybe and don't eat those with "Que" haha! Some of the poor and some of the rich (not all) prepare/cook differently or say, snacks of the poor and the rich in same city/place are different.

@birjudanak I do not know what tampura is. I am from Bicol region (Southern Luzon). Many of Your/Our blogger friends are from Visayas and Mindanao. Some from Norhern Luzon. Banana name for example in other cities is called "Batag" but in other region/cities it's different.

I love trying local food while traveling. it's good to get to know what people in other countries eat. of course, we have some local snacks too, but their name would say nothing to others,

@birjudanak I would not be surprised if there is not a variation of this at some Indian cuisine restaurant somewhere. Almost any dish popular in any place is available somewhere else.
