The Little Pip Never Ceases to Amaze Us

Many of my friends know that our granddaughter is a figure skater. She also is doing synchronized skating. Actually, she is involved in many other sports and activities including pottery making with her brother. What surprised the heck out of us was that she ran her first 5K race on Sunday and crossed the finish line. The race was open to adults as well as children 11 and up. What also amazed us is that they kept it a secret from us and only told us after the fact in case she fizzled out. No chance of fizzling out where she is concerned.

Good for her staying active and not sitting front of a TV all day. I assume that is her wearing 2035, she looks like she could run another 5k right there. The poor guys behind her look like they are about to pass out.

Neither of my two grandkids sit in front of a TV. That is her and

! Those guys do look that way. I didn’t notice until you pointed it out.

@DianneN That is good that they don't. I know so many kids that do, that or in front of the computer. To many kids don't want to get out and do things anymore.
