Lentils and beans in my freezer.

Ever since I bought the deep freeze, I have used it to keep (and hoard) meat and sea products. I also have some frozen veggies, but not many.
Now, with my grandson at home, all has changed.
He told me that he ate "anything". Then, a few days later, he talked about "preferring" to eat veggies although he was no vegetarian.
All these changes every day. And now he is into legumes and nuts.
I am not a legume eater although I can eat it once in a while. So, after carefully thinking with Leticia, we decided to have lentils and beans in Tupperware of a size to take out and we would eat all we wanted.

I wonder how long will my patience last. He is sweet, but I did not do for my husband what I´m doing now for him.

Until now the kidney beans in our food cabinet is waiting to be cooked. I had plans already when I read your post about pinto beans. And maybe tomorrow I can buy beef to cook those beans.

I will make some of the cooked beans into a sort of chili con carne.
