Good Morning & Daily Health Report - Day 23

Yesterday was a very busy day. As such, I only had one meal yesterday after getting home from the hospital. I felt like I was half-starved, so I indulged with the Christmas treats at Writer's Guild last night. That resulted in a high sodium count. Otherwise, my numbers for yesterday are good.
Writer's Guild went very well. I needed to ask a question for Vendetta, the new title for the book I've been working on. How to simulate a heart attack. Bottom line, you can't. Okay, what to do. They told me to ask a pharmacist.
I think I made the pharmacist's day. He had to assure the other customers' nobody was committing murder, it was for a book. I showed him my newest book and that I was an author. What I found out is it's impossible to simulate a murder because there will be muscle damage to the heart. The same with a stroke. So, what to do. There were other options discussed at Writer's Guild, and it was one of those options I researched and found the perfect murder because it doesn't look like murder, which is what I was after.
That was my day yesterday, and now for my numbers.
Calories: 978
Sugar: 50
Carbs: 73.7
Protein: 45.5
Sodium: 1213
Fat: 49.9
Not knowing the information for the homemade cookie or banana bread, I used the numbers from what I could find online. So the numbers could be high.
Calories burned - Swimming - 388
Total calories: 590
I went shopping this morning after swimming and am just finishing breakfast, and yes, I have bananas and potatoes once again. I went to Wal-Mart, but I still need to go to Aldi. I don't need much from there, but what I need is cheaper than Wal-Mart.
How did you do for food and exercise yesterday? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

You are always tracking and I am impressed! That is not easy to keep up with, as I know from personal experience. I didn't eat a lot of calories yesterday, but most of what I ate was high in sodium so that is not too helpful. I did however, eat extra salad when I really wanted seconds on my meal, so that was a triumph.

No exercise yesterday and I ate fried food and meat so mine was higher. However, my blood sugar was within the normal range this morning so I am all good.
That is interesting how you asked about the murder, lol.

I went out to Arby's for supper last night. I hadn't been there for about a year and their menu was completely different. I went for a familiar sandwich, roast beef. That meat was an inch thick, on the bun!
Your numbers are really low, good job Valerie! The perfect murder? Eat my sister's cooking for two days!

@kobesbuddy Oh NO! I agree, that's dangerous. It's a good thing you pray over your food.

@just4him One time my sister made a casserole for her family. Absentmindedly, she grabbed a can of what she thought was 'PAM spray,' which she used on the baking dish. The casserole tasted terribleWhen Lyna checked the cupboard, she had use BUG SPRAY, instead of Pam!

Very interesting about the book stuff--good to know. The numbers do look good, besides the sodium (for people who try to keep it low).

Excellent very low calorie count. You were thinking of having a heart attack as cover for what was really murder? That's tough if the person has no history of heart trouble. If a person has a history of heart attacks and strokes, then they can be terrorized and tormented into having a heart attack so it's murder in a fashion.
