When you are young, did you experience caroling from houses to houses in your place?

At the center earlier.
I heard other patients practicing their songs for their caroling. There is a Contest in the Hospital where our Center is, and they are going to join to the contest. And I heard the prize is much. This will give some patients a Happy Christmas.
As for me, I can get along with them coz I’m not stable enough to join them. 
But I’m all wishing them that they will get the prize as they all needed it.
I remember when I was young.
Me and my cousins uses to carol to our neighbors.

Yes, when we were in grade school. I remember one house giving us bananas.

I have never done that, and no one went Christmas caroling at our house either. That tradition doesn't exist here, I have only seen it in Christmas movies

@JustBhem I think it is a nice tradition, but I have never experienced it in my country. The only strangers who knock on our door are people who want to sell something.
