Day 123 Promise 172 Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations who forget God. Nobody likes to think of themselves as wicked. Most people believe they will go to heaven when they die. David showed the opposite is true. God sends every wicked person to hell and all those who don’t put their trust in Him. As Christians, you know there isn’t a single righteous person. Everyone is wicked. Does that mean everyone will go to hell? Psalm 14:1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The fool hath said in his heart, ‘There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good. 2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any who did understand, and seek God. 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none who does good, no, not one. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none who understands, there is none who seeks after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one. What is your alternative? You need to recognize you’re a sinner, confess your sin to God, and accept Jesus as your Savior. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (KJV) Romans 5:8 But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) Romans 10:8 But what says it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. Being wicked is a choice just as salvation is a choice. When you make the choice to change your wickedness for Christ’s salvation, God will not send you to hell but you will be with Him in heaven for eternity. The choice is yours. God will honor your choice. Let’s pray: Father, I know I’m a sinner. I know I have no right to heaven except through the death of Your Son, Jesus for my salvation. Help me show Jesus to those around me so they too will make the choice for eternal life and not eternal damnation. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
