A picture my dad took of his farm

Dad wanted to be a self-sustaining farmer.
It never happened, but the farm was fun for years. My favorite part wasn't planting the orchard with him (140 plus trees in the end) but I loved eating the apples!
Old pictures bring happy memories, right?

@DocAndersen I loved to stay with them. During summer I stayed there a full month and my favorite cousin came there too, with my brother and another cousin. We had so much fun.

my dad's farm was more grapes, apples and vegetables. He only had pigs a few years and cows once.

Cool! While you people planting apples, we who live in the city who usually don't have a backyard or a farm -- we were all addicted in nourishing plants and we were called Plantito (male who loves to grow plants) and Plantita (female version), and because of this selling plants blooms during pandemic!

@marlina i did at times. I moved out of my parent's house, dad would invite me for Sunday dinner. I would arrive, and get to work for an hour before dinner!
sometimes I didn't care.

The scene reminds me of the painting " Christina's world " by Andrew Wyeth except for the snow. There's something in the photo that's very nostalgic, your dad must had been a real hard worker.

Not really they do not for some reason I have a very hard time looking at old photos as I get so sad. One day I must do it though.
This is a lovely farm your Dad had.

Absolutely looking back at old photos ais a lovely rewarding time which stirs up all kinds of emotions. Sadly most of my photos are on the PC. Although I love looking at them they are not accessible to others!
