An enjoyable concert

I played bass with the rock band today in a two day "festival" designed to raise money for toys for poor kids in our area.
It was actually a great time. Folks (not the musicians) had to bring $20 and an unwrapped gift, and the place was packed.
Backstage, there were libations, and I got to chat with some fellow East Bay musicians I had not met before.
We didn't get paid for this gig, but I got $60 for the last gig we played (In Scott math, $60 = 1/4 of $250).

That’s cool. (And, just saying, that bass doesn’t look like it came from C.F. Martin....)
We have a thing like that here, it’s called the “Give a Jam for the Homeless.”
