I Bought a Computer

There's nothing I hate more than to have to make a snap decision about purchasing something expensive...but yesterday I bought a new laptop. Dell was having a Black Friday Sale that ended in less than 1/2 day; and I had to make a decision to buy or pass...so I bought.
I hope this computer will not have the same buffering problem...Keeping my fingers crossed and knocking on wood. Wish me luck!

I hope you have better luck than I did with my annoying Dell laptop.

What, it only played “Oh What a Nite” over and over and over?
The Dells are one of the finest and longest-lived R&B vocal groups in history, and what's most amazing is that they've done it with nearly all the same membe...

@vandana7 — there used to be a saying — don’t know if it’s still true or not, because I’ve had a Mac for six years now — that a PC is obsolete when you take it out of the box. That was a testimony to the rapid expansion of the technology AND the “old models at a hefty discount” sales.

@FourWalls Computers are out of date as soon as they leave the factory. It's true!

Congrats and good luck! I had a Dell, and I really liked it. The only problem I had was about two years in when Microsoft rolled out one of it's infamous update debacles and my Dell ended up being collateral damage. Up to that point, it was my favorite computer. I think Microsoft got enough user "feedback" from that mistake they won't do that to us again, so hopefully your Dell will last you several years! :-)
