Barbra Streisand was born in 1942 and is an American singer, actress and filmmaker. She has had a long, illustrious career in which she has received many awards and had many firsts. She has won 2 Academy Awards, 10 Grammys, 5 Emmys, 1 Tony Award, 1 American Film Institute Award, a Kennedy Center Honors Prize, 4 Peabody Awards, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and 9 Golden Globes.
Streisand is the first woman to win an Academy Award for a song she composed, the first woman to write, produce, direct and star in a major motion picture and the only woman to win a Golden Globe for Best Director. She has sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
The tracks on Streisand's "A Christmas Album" are as follows:
1. Jingle Bells
2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
3. The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)
4. White Christmas
5. My Favorite Things
6. The Best Gift
7. Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Silent Night)
8. Gounod's Ave Maria
9. O Little Town of Bethlehem
10. I Wonder as I Wander
11. The Lord's Prayer
The song that I picked is the wildest version of "Jingle Bells" that I have ever heard. Be assured that the rest of the album is sung beautifully and would be a good addition to your Christmas collection.
Enjoy this unique version of "Jingle Bells":

I love Barbra. The sweetest voice with a calming effect. Funny girl she is, too.

That is very different. Very jazzy. I’m not much of a Streisand fan (save for “Stony End”), though.

This is, indeed one of the most unique renditions of this song I've heard. My favorite Barbara Streisand song was Send in the Clowns.

I love Barbra Streisand both as a singer and as an actress.
