just when britney capture the teens, when aguillera tried another level to be known, as when teenagers confused with the hanson band.... still rock rules!
ramones one of the greatest bands! and one of the foundation of rock genre! it just proves that some things last!

True enough. It amazes me every day when I listen to the Ramones that they weren't more popular in the mainstream during their 25 year career. Now that they're gone, it seems they are finally getting the respect they deserve. There wouldn't be any "pop-punk" atrocities like Good Charlotte/Fall Out Boy or even room for decent punk inspired bands like Green Day or so many others if it weren't for the groundwork laid by and undying ambassadorship of the Ramones. Hey ho lets go!
I like the simplistic "no" response of the non-music fan earlier in this thread, how appropriate.

Omg I've been a Ramones fan for yrs!! among other great bands/artists such as Bauhaus, New York Dolls, Joy Division, the Cure, the Furs, David Bowie, Social Distortion, then of coure you have Led Zep (whom admittedly I got sick of for a time up until a few yrs back) Marianne Faithful, Patty Smith, Kate Bush, CCR, Foghat, old KISS, Deep Purple, Uriah Heap, old Van halen, the Clash, Sisters of Mercy, Bad Religion, Red Hot Chili Peppers ok Ive stumped myself LOL I love music particularly music before the mid 90s ....

more than that it proves that great things last..I'll lay money on it my grandkids someday will be listening to the Ramones and all the good stuff whether its my daughters kids listening to classic rock or my sons kids listening to goth and punk LOL
