Today I finally managed to clear time to get on here and write. Not that I have been busy -- far from it! Instead, it seems I can not rouse myself very far from a coma it seems, I feel fatigued all of the time now -- and yes, I do see my regular doctor next week, so that's taken care of. But I have been cooking nearly all of the meals over that last couple of weeks, so that is good. I did finally get the fruitcake kit from King Arthur Flour ordered, I've been doing that for several years now, and so far, it goes pretty well. This year, I am going to keep one aside and try to decorate it as they do a Christmas Cake in the UK -- adding a layer of marzipan to the top, and then icing and decorating it with royal icing. I'd love to do something and festive. Reading has been pretty much zilch this month, I can't seem to get into anything, and I feel bad about that. OTOH, I am reading A Warning, by Anonymous. Given all the recent hullabaloo, I do wonder who it is. As most of you have guessed so far, I am not a fan of Our Fearless Leader AKA the Orange Cockroach. Today's news about impeachment charges, and what they are, pleased me to no end. Abuse of Power may be voted down by the Senate, but if they vote against the Contempt of Congress, they are going to look like real jackasses. But then, I do have to remember that the word Senate comes from the Latin word Senex, -Old,- which also is the root word for Senile. So it goes!
