I will never condone it but think we live in a time when people have forgotten or never did see why things work the way they do. The gangster is clearly a path chose by highly ambitious people because the leaders at the top said they were not worthy.
Whether it be race or where they come from in families wealth. I mean really only two things people focus on. Immigrants, but once they been here or in a place where is not home country, it is now minority. That still means does not come from here. Which is always funny in the US because so few are actually from this land.
Anyway, How Peaky Blinders grew on me. Some Gangsters were indeed a product of their environment. Even today, I still hear people talk smack about Gypsies. Well, not so much, was before this came out.
This is one of the coolest scenes I ever seen. The neat thing talking about a black girl being abused to a bunch of nuns in those times. Scared that Jesus right out of them. How accurate it is who knows but that is the great thing, we can make our own stories of how we think the world should be.
Now that is gangster.

@crossbones27 It's an insane world, isn't it? Kids growing up in a cruel (crueler) world and who all is doing anything about it (or the opposite). Seriously, we all know the system can be iffy here . . . so for anyone to stand up for children it's like heck yah . . . do not mess with the Peaky F'ing Blinders!
