A Girls Day Out

I spent the day with my friend, just doing nothing, eating and she sunk down in Tony`s grave, I had to pull her out.......
Tried a new ice cream shop and it was.... Yeah!
Back home, not for long I had to go to work.
When I was leaving, just before dark, I seen one of my tenants youngest little boy walking down the road. I stopped at his drive way and blew the horn and waiting, he ran back to his drive and I asked "what are you doing in the road?" he told me there were other boys playing in the road and he was going to tell them to stop. I told him " get your butt in the house and YOU stay out of the road, don`t worry about what they are doing." He ran up the hill to the front porch, then I drove off. I called his mother and told her that I can bet he was outside and granny didnt know it. She thanked me and bet she didnt know too.
Then I wandered around a few stores. After all, no one at home waiting for me.Tomorrow I will get busy with research, I need a job!

@andriaperry ahh I see I misunderstood where you wrote back home I had to go to work. I thought you went home and got ready to go to work somewhere else.
What line of work do you think you will be looking for?

@shaggin LOL, yes I did, the landlady thing. was going to work.
Either making my own or in management. I have a job working weekends at the racetrack beginning in the spring, I was hired last week. I think we have one winter race in Jan. that I work.

This reminds me of my best friend when I was still single. We would meet in the business district and chat while walking. When we get tired, we would dine in the food court and then chat until afternoon. I couldn't do that now, not anymore.

I'm glad you were there to get the child off the road. I'm sure it takes some getting used to all of this freedom. My day was boring as usual...except for MyLotting!

I think she is wanting to help, she knows how hard it was for Tony, she visited the week before he passed, and the toll it takes on the caregiver since she had been one over and over for her family.
