Here is the link to the news article... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061129/ap_on_go_pr_wh/nkorea_ipod_diplomacy I think it is funny that they are basically just trying to take away Kims toys. There has to be a better way to get his attention... don't you think?

Why on earth are they doing that. Is I-POD provoking harm to anyone? What was their excuse for doing that?

In the article they said that they were doing it to get Kim's attention. Do they think that he is really going to care if he can no legally import an iPod? If he can conduct a secret nuclear weapons program I am pretty sure he can summgle in an iPod for himself.

It works for my kids, they're naughty so I take their toys away. Unfortunately it only works for a short time, so there must be a better way! Wish I knew what it was.

Now if only your kids were in charge of N. Korea's nuclear weapons program we would be good to go.

Well there are certain things that I can agree with about this. Maybe it is for attention but it has other results as well. Why should US share their toys with N. Korea? All Kim does is bad talk the US and now he wants their toys? HEH I wouldn't share my stuff with someone who was talking crap either. (Especially since Kim was able to have a few things from the US and he claimed that HE made them to his people....)

They sell enough, they do it for attention. I guess what, they get it.

Apple sells them though... This is the US government restricting the sale of them to North Korea.

Kim is said to be a HUGE movie fan--has his own screening room in his palace, etc., he even kidnapped a couple of actors from another country! If the U.S. really wanted to hurt him, they'd ban the export of DVDs to NKorea. (Assuming he's got a DVD player; that country is so backwards, he might still be using a Betamax for all we know.)
