Why animals make better friends than humans

1. You don't have to share your restroom with them.
2. They don't sing, dance, cook, stitch, play or do anything better than you, to make you feel inferior
3. They can't steal your monies
4. They will seemingly listen to you grumbling about somebody or something and not carry tales.
5. They don't need expensive fashionable garments. In fact, they don't even wear under garments.
6. They are not going to grumble and let the whole world know if you are a bad cook.
7. They are not going to click your pictures and upload on net should they notice you forgot to wear your pants.
8. Their food is less expensive, and so is their housing requirement.
9. They will not protest even if you spay them or neuter them.
10. They are difficult to be annoyed with because they have not learned the art of irritating.
Horses do not need to be slaughtered you know.

@vandana7 If you ask they horses, I'm not pampering them enough!
Not enough food, not enough cuddles. not enough walking around together looking for things to eat. Normally things they'll eat, as I'm not that keen on brown straws burried in snow.

1. You would be surprised, perhaps, how many animals seem to be intensely interested in how humans use what you call the 'restroom'.
2. Every animal I have ever met makes me feel a little inferior because it has usually been able to see, smell or just be aware of things far better than me.
3. Is true ... unless they need to see the vet.
4. How do you know they don't tell tales? They just don't tell other humans much.
5. They are superior to us in that they don't need undergarments ... and they are sure very critical of ours at times!
6. They will certainly let YOU know pretty quickly, though!
7. This is true but only because animals think that wearing pants is ridiculous.
8. I PAY for my food and housing (and for the animals). They expect it (and get it) for nothing more than a soulful look and a head nudge or two!
9. Any visit to the vet usually involves an 'I don't trust you any more' moment for a day or so.
10. Animals are absolute past masters at the art of irritating ... if they want to be.
Horses certainly don't need to be slaughtered. I think that it's unfair that we can give them euthanasia when it's really best to do so but we can't do the same for ourselves.

@owlwings @vandana7 As to No 1: I've recently got two cats. My neighbours gave them to me as a present as a thank-you for helping them. They are one-year-old British Shorthair, neutered brother and sister. They are extremely affectionate and curious. It's hardly possible to get into the bathroom without them wriggling in, too. It's a sensation I have to get used to.
When I sit on the potty, one of them wanders around my legs with its tail in the air, round and round. The other hops onto the window sill and then has its head on the same level as the top of my head. It likes breathing into my hair. It's also trying to hop onto my shoulder but up to now hasn't found out how to do that.

I have issues with number one and number two. Our Siamese in resident king cat loves to sit on a human's lap when they are in um.... you know doing what..... And my Sally Heeler dog? When we practiced agility she made me look like a clown. She was the rock star of that game. I was a red faced mess.

It is true. I had dogs, and they gave me joyful every time I saw them. Their acts were really adorable and always made me smile. One more point is.... animals don't like spreading false rumors and gossips.

Animals do not judge and condemn us. They accept us as they are. Their love is unconditional whereas human beings are greedy and jealous.

thanks much fer the shout-out 'n helpin' to bring 'ttention to this matter, hon. very much 'ppreciated. i've got'ta say that the resident pup'n cat 're kinda like toddlers regardin' the restroom. if'n i can make't there'n get the door shut 'fore they come'n, they're sittin' 't the door waitin' when i get out. usually with lil paws reachin' 'nder the door.
the breeders 'f the domestic horses here'n the u.s. need to be more mindful, but claim such's their livin'. the slaughter buyers'll tell the same. there'd be so many thingies wrong with societies mindset.

Our dogs never did that...kinda the dogs would love to be near us, but eventually, they had their baskets ..I guess they were the lazy ones... if we got up to do something, their heads did move up...but nobody followed us to restroom. But it may be because the design of the house was such that sleeping quarters were away from living, dining, drawing and kitchen. And I really don't recall dogs ever entering the sleeping quarters .. Alsatian saw to it...that they were monitored. Kinda. As pups I did take them in for a while..but no... may be they do it when there is only one person around.

@vandana7 No, it's not. I heard about that. I think it's deplorable.

Absolutely. We humans are weird. We hope to get that from humans which comes with all its warts and moles..I mean, we do have to adjust to a lot of things too to have that kind of love. But when we are getting genuine stuff, we do not even treat it as such.

@Thrilliana I think you all are training them like that. I never had any issues like that.

Those are some well-thought out reasons One thing they might be able to do better than you is "eat" At least the potential with some dogs is there.
No matter how your day is going your pet is always happy to greet you with a wagging tail or little woof
