No i dont think that it is necessary for students in college to wear uniforms. those students already have enough stress on there backs about where and how they are going to pay for college and if or if not they are going to be accepted. i dont think that they really need to wear a uniform becasue usually if your going to college you are going to better yourself so you can get a good job and you know what is appropriat and not for work and school. so i feel it should be left upto the students on what they want to wear. but maybe dress codes should be talked about... so stuff dont get out of hands.

nah! i hated wearing them! most especially in college, but it was a requirement, so i had to comply. while, i wouldn't want the wearing of uniforms to be compulsory, i feel that there ought to be some kind of a dress code, so that kids just won't go around expressing themselves in appropriate attire.

uniforms in school instill discipline. that's why all armies wear uniforms. if you take 2 kids from different schools - one that wears a uniform and one that doesn't, i'm sure yu will find the one that wears a uniform to school is more well behaved. of course there are a lot of other factors that combined with wearing uniforms help mold a kid into a responsible person - the teachers, parents, etc. but in college maybe not, these kids are approaching adulthood, let them be free.

It shd not be compulsory but its a part of the discipline. So even if college wants to implement this, i dont see anything wrong in this

No. College is for adults, and adults should be able to wear what they wish.

No. High school yes. Though a lot of older students go to college, try asking an mature student to wear a uniform and see what their response is!
