Rushing to work

Rushing... we all rush all our lives, even without thinking where we so rush.
And that morning rush... it's not the most enjoyable thing in our lives: we get up out of our cozy and warm bearing, getting ready and hurry again to the work...
Are you still working? Do you get up early in the morning and rush to work? Or maybe you have the pleasure of getting up whenever you want?

We all rush until we don't take charge of our lives.
To stop rushing, change your priorities. Don't look for money, look for meaning.

If I stop working, I will not have money for living. I love my work too much, it involves creativity. The problem is I take too many projects at once.

@lillywriter Guess what, your post has changed something in my day today. I was rushing to get some works done. I was with my assistant. Then we passed by a coffee shop and I said "Stop, let's have coffee". He said "No Sir, I have too many things to do". Then I said "I read somewhere that we are always rushing" and here I was referring to your posts. So, I explained to him why we must not rush and why we must find time to live too. We had our cups of coffee leisurely.
So thanks for your post.

@excellence7 Oh, I am glad to hear. It means I write my posts not in vain. We all must stop sometimes and enjoy the moments of pleasure. Life is too short.

I'm working now and I agree with you, we are in a rush all the time, this morning I had to stop and say to myself "calm down it's okay" when I was opening the garage door to head to work because I made my breakfast in such a hurry

So familiar image. Sometimes I drink my coffee on the way to work even.

I always hated that when I worked and looked forward to retiring. But now I wish I could do it again. Never thought I would miss it so much and end up in pain these last days.

I sometimes dream about retirement from all works and enjoying late coffee on my terrace as long as I wish.

I'm glad to be over the morning rush. I'm retired now. Except for when I have a doctor's appointment, I don't have to set the alarm.

@lillywriter I have two main doctors that I go to. One I see every 4 months; and the other every 3 months. Plus the dentist and the eye doctor twice a year. That's quite a few appointments!

I don't follow the morning rush anymore since I'm working online. But I start working very early morning.

Yes I am still working. I get up early to do things and try to work at home on the computer.
