My brother just called me to invite me to dine out. I graciously accepted. My relations with my brother are of the polite kind. Once in a great while he invites me out. Never to his house. Once in a great while, I invite them to dine at my house (I don´t have the means to take them to a good restaurant). That is more weird since there is only one house between his house and mine. Today, in another kind of conversation, Dixie and I talked whether we could go to their house on the mountains for New Year. That is, if they are going I WILL go. I don´t even have to ask. Richard Bach wrote: “The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof.” This is a very special quote for me. And I´d like to send it as a Christmas gift to a special friend here, Coral. ( @TheSojourner )
