Hoping for a white Christmas

It's rare for the UK to get snow for Christmas but it does happen on the odd occasion. This year it seems that we will be getting constant rain and the nation seems to be suffering a flu epidemic which has put some vulnerable people in hospital.
I am into my 4th week of some viral infection but hope I will be well for the big day.

It seems that lots of countries are having rain at the moment. I saw someone else from the US say the same. I am feeling better. I just have this annoying cough.

No we rarely get snow in the UK. The last time was in February 2019

@amitkokiladitya I hope not because we are never prepared for it. All the schools close and the roads are never gritted. The children love it though!

@porwest At least I am over the worst for Christmas. Starting to look forward to it now. No snow for us this year according to the forecast. I don't mind as I hate driving in it.

I suppose for you the snow is like our rain. I know people are suffering droughts throughout the world but I get so fed up with being cold and wet. Thank you. I am feeling better than I was.
